CSURA is a mission-driven organization that is influential in forging partnerships that thoughtfully impact change throughout the city. CSURA is aligned with the City of Colorado Springs and upholds the City’s Comprehensive Plan, PlanCOS, that was adopted in January 2019. PlanCOS promotes six themes of vibrant neighborhoods, unique places, thriving economy, strong connections, renowned culture, and majestic landscapes. These themes are reflected in the mission, philosophy, and values of CSURA, which will guide the Authority over the next 5 to 10 years.
Purpose of the Strategic Plan
The overarching purpose of this Strategic Plan is to create a dynamic framework that guides decision making, optimizes resource allocation, and stimulates economic growth, all while preserving and enhancing the unique character of the city and its diverse neighborhoods and districts. At its core, the CSURA Strategic Plan aims to foster a vibrant and resilient urban environment that meets the needs of current and future residents.
